28 April was ASC day

BBC | Tuesday 28 April was adult social care day

Across the UK, the BBC focused on adult social care for one day with interviews, news and articles, including this piece on international recruitment filmed at Seabrook Services in Oxford with OACP and Jeff Jen Care.

We were very pleased to be part of the actions that enabled the care worker in the film to obtain a replacement job after his Liverpool employer voluntarily gave up their sponsorship licence due to increasing costs. The film was included in morning and evening bulletins and again on Politics South on Sunday morning. OACP also gave an interview on Radio Oxford on 28 April - thank you to Cllr Bearder for his letter to SoS Stephen Kinnock, which prompted BBC to get in touch, and to Wangui Cohen and Bea Adjaottor for enabling the filming to take place.
