Workforce Strategy for Adult Social Care

The Workforce Strategy for Adult Social Care in England is a long-term, sector-led strategy developed by Skills for Care and partners across the care sector. Published in 2024, it sets out a vision for ensuring adult social care has enough people with the right skills to deliver high-quality care and support over the next 15 years. The strategy is organised around three themes: Attract and Retain, Train, and Transform.
